FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long does a full set of lash extensions take?
A: The service (full set) takes about 2 hours. During this time you comfortably lay on a soft bed, with your eyes closed, while we do our lash magic. Most of our clients take a power nap during the service.

Q: How often do I need to come back for a lash touch-up?
A: Our clients usually return every 2-4 weeks for touch-up (fill). Touch-up service takes from an hour to an hour and a half.

Q: What are classic extensions?
A: Classic (or single) extensions are individual strands of synthetic eyelashes that are glued onto your natural eyelashes. One extension per lash.

Q: What are volume lash extensions?
A: Volume lash extensions are thin synthetic strands that are glued on your natural eyelashes in the shape of a fan. Lash fans can consist of 2-10 thin strands depending on the desired fullness.

A: What is the difference between single and volume lash extensions?
Q: Single lash extensions are thicker than volume lash extensions. This is the main reason why single lash extensions are applied as individual strands, while volume lash extensions are applied as fans of multiple lash extensions.

Q: Do I need single lash extensions or volume lash extensions?
A: We won’t know until we see you and your unique natural lashes. If you are not sure what you need, please make an appointment for any full set. We will decide together, on-the-spot, which service is best for you.

Q: How do I take care of my eyelash extensions?
A: To properly care for your lash extensions, wash your eyes every day and brush your lash extensions when necessary.

Q: Is it possible to use mascara with eyelash extensions?
A: Unfortunately, no. Your lash extensions will be full and long enough, so you should not need to use mascara.

Q: Can I use mascara on my lower eyelashes?
A: It is better not to do it, because when you blink the clumps of the mascara from the lower lashes can get on the extensions of the upper lashes.

Q: Can I use eye makeup (eyeliner, pencils, gels, eyeshadow, etc.)?
A: Yes you can, but remember the more eye makeup you apply, the quicker your lash extensions will shed. It is better not to use eyeliner, at all, as the retention of eyelashes may worsen drastically. If you need to use eyeliner for whatever reason, we suggest using an oil-free eyeliner.
